    Charles Kalms opens first Dixons photo studio in London.
  2. 1962
    Dixons, by now with 16 branches, was listed on the London Stock Exchange
  3. 1989
    Carphone Warehouse founded by Charles Dunstone
  4. 1999
    Acquisition of Elkjop
  5. 2000
    Expansion to Greek, Portuguese and Spanish market
  6. 2000
    CPW enters London Stock Exchange and has expanded to Western Europe
  7. 2007
    CPW Geek Squad services introduction
  8. 2007
    Brno CoE established
  9. 2010
    Currys PC World 2in1 stores and KnowHow launch
  10. 2014
    Merge of Dixons and Carphone. Electroworld sold.
