Health days18. 10. 2017 - Tereza Dolezalova
The office program started on Thursday. Except traditional workshops and lectures as optometrist check-ups, body measurements, glycaemia and blood pressure testing, physiotherapy, feet diagnostics and relaxation doodling, there was bunch of new and very interesting activities. The biggest interest was in the workshop Herbs as natural antibiotic where lecturer practically taught us what we can extract from herbs and how to prepare our own tinctures. Our ladies’ colleagues took part in the workshop about prevention of breast cancer and many colleagues were interested in dental hygiene workshop. Thursday was finished by several yoga classes – relax yoga, power yoga, Pranayama and meditation.
On Friday, we had the opportunity to learn how to meditate, find out how to do sauna properly and improve our body posture. The biggest interest was in the practical workshop about smoothie preparation, including tasting of many delicious recipes. In the afternoon, there took part several group workshops with physiotherapist, exercising with overballs as well as individual sessions and podoscope diagnostics.
The whole event was finished by 20km charity walk organized near Vranov. Supporters raised 7.300czk to support an animal in Brno ZOO. The weather was just perfect and our colleagues could take their family members and friends with them, so the whole event was in great atmosphere.
We hope you have found the activity that was beneficial for your body and mind and enjoyed our Health Days.
Our special thanks goes to the whole organization team led by Lada Kolarova, including Terka Dolezalova, Zuzka Gajdosikova and Petra Horylova for their perfect work. Our colleagues Lenka Preiss, Henrieta Mikleova and Zuzka Gajdosikova deserve big thank you for their interesting workshops.
We would like to thank to all our partners as well, above all to Chytra lekarna, Optika Richter, Mamma Help and dental hygienists from Mrs. Suranova. It wouldn’t be the same without you!
