Study itself is divided into 2 different levels. Lower level is for HR professionals with minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Higher level is for professionals who already have 5+ years of professional experience, preferably on managerial level. Study topics are covering the same areas, however in different depth. They cover Developing of Professional Practice, Business Issues and the Context of Human Resources, Using Information in Human Resources, Reward Management, Resourcing and Talent Planning and Implementing of Coaching and Mentoring.
The study itself consists of 2 days of interactive face to face lectures on each topic followed by a webinar. After each module the students had to prepare extensive Assessment on the topic and at the end a case study, personal development plan and track sufficient amount of the guided hours.
Dixons Carphone has in this season supported 9 participants on the lower and 4 on the higher level. The last assessments are being handed these days, now it’s just necessary to wait for the final results.
What has been the biggest asset of the whole 6-months course? Most of the participants have confirmed that they were glad to see the overall background of HR according to the most up to date knowledge and sharing of the best practices with HR Professionals from other companies. To see real examples and discuss the concrete solutions or possibilities how day to day HR challenges can be solved in a better way.
We believe that level of our HR services will be improved and therefore we are starting to prepare the next season of CIPD for our colleagues.
