About a year ago, we created a whole new big department focused on finance administration for our retail business in UK & Ireland. We took over both AP and AR processes from an outsourcing company and we dare say that we managed this behemoth of a project successfully. That is just the beginning, though – now it’s time to streamline the processes, focus on their improvement and free the hands of our colleagues from anything routine or unnecessary so that they can focus on the core of our services – our expertise.

What will you do? You will:

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for supporting and managing various UK&I Finance process improvements & projects, ranging from full end-to-end responsibility in some of the projects you will fully lead yourself, to support in others that might benefit from your know-how.
  • You will both harvest and plant ideas for process improvements
  • You will closely look at the systems we are using and seek any potential for improvement
  • You will lead your own projects focused on specific areas that need restructuring
  • You will act as a point of contact for our colleagues that need support in shaping their ideas for process improvements into a doable project
  • You will build a collaborative partnership with our local UK&I Finance Department and the UK&I management
  • You will communicate with various stakeholders (transporters, business partners, and suppliers) to achieve new synergies

This is a senior role, so you will have a chance to lead your own projects and therefore sharpen your communication and planning skills. You will also see very closely how a whole department with multiple teams and responsibilities after major transition changes and streamlines simultaneously.
Last but not least, you will get a chance to work in a multinational company and you will be in touch with our management in the UK directly.

Now you’re probably wondering what we expect from you? Well…

  • You will be in daily touch with our managers in the UK & I region, so advanced level of English is a must
  • You should have a demonstrable experience with project management and service delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a self-starting attitude
  • Finance background or at least understanding of core financial operations
  • Knowledge of project management and process improvements tools is expected (certification in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage)
  • You should have an advanced user level of MS Office and ERP systems (SAP4Hana is a big advantage)
  • Power BI or reporting tools knowledge is desirable
