Hello. My name is Eva and I am looking for a Transaction Associate to my Transaction team in Currys CoE. The Transaction team is small team of 4 members including me as a team leader.

The key responsibility is to run daily payments and take care of our bank accounts we pay from. If you are interested in working with payments and how the whole background of payments works, you are on the right place!
Your role will require frequent communication with all stakeholders (suppliers, banks, Scandinavian business and individual teams within the entire Nordic finance department).

I am searching for person with financial background who has high sense for detail, analytical skills, basic Excel knowledge and who can work independently and also as a team player.
Preparation of payments for whole Nordic business together with communication with all parties make the role very interesting.

What will you do? You will:

  • Prepare and process payment files, manual payments and intercompany payments for Nordic business mainly via SAP and by using our banks
  • Reconcile our bank accounts/ledgers in SAP
  • Manage the team email boxes
  • Communicate with business partners, suppliers, banks and all teams within Accounts Payable department
  • Solve ad hoc issues that can arise from payment process
  • Work on month end tasks assigned according to 445 calendar
  • Follow daily and monthly KPI setup in Transaction team
  • Keep work descriptions for tasks you are responsible for up to date

  • You will be in daily touch with stakeholders in the Nordic region, so at least intermediate level of English (written and spoken) is a must
  • Basic level of Excel skills
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage

  • You are able to work independently
  • You are also a team player so other team members can rely on you when necessary
  • You have hands-on approach to problem solving
  • You have experience in finance or related fields
  • You are familiar with SSC environment with general understanding of end-to-end processes
